FAQ

 ***What is Permanent makeup?
Permanent cosmetics is a safe and natural-looking alternative to the expense and daily routine of applying makeup upon waking in the morning and often times throughout the day. It is a state-of-the-art technique of permanently applying makeup via intradermal micropigmentation.

***Is it safe?
Yes. The strictest sanitation and safety standards are followed by using only single-use needles and parts. Also, hypo-allergenic pigments containing no fragrances, emollients or other irritants are used during the procedure.

***Does the procedure hurt?
New topical anesthetics have been developed especially for permanent makeup. The anesthetic is applied to the area before and during the procedure to assure you of the most comfortable experience possible. Some people describe the sensation as a "scratching" feeling. It is common to hear that there was not as much discomfort as was expect.

***How long does the procedure take?
The time can vary depending on the procedure, it can be 1-2 hours. Much of that time is spent choosing colors, design and allowing the topical anesthetics to take effect.

***Is any care required after the procedure?
Some swelling and redness can be expected for 24 hours following the procedure. A cold compress helps to reduce any swelling around the eye area. The treated area must be kept clean. No makeup should be applied for several days. Some skin peeling and lightening of the applied color is normal. If any additional adjustments are desired, these will be made during your follow-up appointment.

***How long does Permanent make up last?
Gradual fading can be expected for all micro-pigmentation procedures. Most colors last 2 to 4 years. Periodic touch-ups are recommended to maintain the desired look.

***How do I know what color I should use?
I will help you choose the color that is best compliment your complexion.

***How long is the healing process?
Peeling will start from 4 to 7 days. Full healing takes from 4 to 6 weeks.
