Hyaluron Acid Filler

Hyaluronic acid filler is a popular injectable aesthetic treatment used to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and retains moisture, making it ideal for creating a hydrated, plump appearance in the skin. When injected, the filler integrates smoothly with the surrounding tissue, providing immediate, natural-looking results while maintaining facial flexibility. It is commonly used to treat areas such as the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and under-eye hollows. Because hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary and biodegradable, they are considered a safe and reversible option, with results typically lasting several months depending on the product used and individual metabolism.

What is Hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic Acid, or "HA," is a sugar-based element that naturally produced in our body. This chemical presents in practically every fluid and tissue in our bodies, with a concentration in the skin, eyes, and joints. In reality, approximately half of the total Hyaluronic Acid exists in the skin.

Our skin's hydration and suppleness are both dependent on Hyaluronic Acid. It promotes water retention and keeps tissues moist and lubricated. Unfortunately, the concentration and molecular weight of Hyaluronic Acid diminishes as we become older, as well as exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun, cigarettes, and pollution, are believed to reduce the amounts of Hyaluronic acid in the skin.

The loss of Hyaluronic acid in the skin results in a loss of density, firmness, and hydration. The lack of moisture can produce wrinkles by reducing the elasticity of the skin.

How long does it last?

Longevity varies and depends on the client. Results last from 6 weeks to 8 months or longer, depending on several factors. Some clients' bodies metabolize the product faster than others. High metabolism, active lifestyle, and weight loss all result in faster process time. Dehydration during the two weeks after treatment also shortens the product's lifespan. number of sessions provided to a consumer will boost retention rates and results will likely stay longer.
